Speaking of forgettable... we were going to meet up this evening and I totally just remembered when I saw your post. I am so sorry I forgot!

This past weekend was crazy. If I acted like a scatter brain when I saw you at Easton, it's because I had 47 family members (all from 500+ miles away) at the mall with me. I spent the entire day giving directions and shuttling people around.

In a lifetime you'll go through hundreds of shoes. I think they can have personalities, and they're good for a period, but as far as longevity they're really not all that memorable.

I guess it was the natural way it came out? At the time it seemed really funny. :-)

Unless they're Doc Martens, in which case I would argue that you would not only remember them forever but you would OWN them forever!

I heart my Doc Martens sandals. Sure, they were $60, but they make me DAMNED CHIPPER!!!

The "Shoes" video is pretty damned UN-forgettable. Sure enough, nearly a year after that thing probably came out on YouTube, I still find myself randomly slipping out things like:

"oh my god, shoes"
"these shoes are three-hundred fucking dollars"
"LET'S GET 'EM!!!"

Maybe I just need a new hobby...
